The Process

How it works

The process of 3D printing starts with design. Architectural documents will be converted for printing. Once all the preparations have been made the printer arrives onsite directly following the initial ground work and excavation. The printer will prepare the footings. Next the wall begin to form.

Once the walls reach floor height, the printing will pause. Then the rough plumbing will be added below grade.  Then the printing proceeds marking out wall openings for windows and doors. The electrical boxes are added to the walls as they are constructed.

Very quickly, the walls will rise to full height where they are filled with insulation and capped to receive the roof structure. The roof is assembled and the house is ready to finish.  The process combines many steps that would be required in traditional building creating a superior structure.
